He completely dedicated his life to ending apartheid, and certainly paid the price for it in many ways that I won't get into right now. Mandela's life was just so incredibly sad, yet inspirational at the same time. The book itself is about 600 or so pages long, but his writing style made it so easy to read that it felt like I went through a 200 page book. The book itself reads like a classical fiction novel.
